To examine the issue, this study has identified the sources of establishment of new ventures to measure the level of entrepreneurial intention and pre-start-up activities. This study adopts decomposed theory of planned behaviour (DTPB) that has been modified to suit the proposed framework of the three breakdown beliefs, namely attitudes, subjective norms and behaviour control. Moderator variable has been identified to assess its influence on entrepreneurial intentions and pre-start-up activities. A total of 310 Rural Millennial from four districts in Kelantan namely Bachok, Tumpat, Jeli and Gua Musang have participated in this study. Data for all study variables were collected through hand delivered survey questionnaires. The primary statistical method used in this research is the Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) method. From the findings, the attitude towards entrepreneurship, subjective norm, and perceived behavioural control were statistically significant towards entrepreneurial intention. With regard to antecedents' effect on the main beliefs, all constructs are significantly influential, with the exception of a risk-taking propensity which was insignificant. The results indicated that the model offers a strong knowledge as a source for new venture establishment. Based on these findings, the study has highlighted the theoretical and practical contributions, as well as the constraints, and makes suggestions for future studies. 2021 UMK Etheses NonPeerReviewed text en http://discol.umk.edu.my/id/eprint/11382/1/TENGKU%20AZIZUDDIN%20TUAN%20MAHMOOD.pdf Tengku Mohd Azizuddin Tuan Mahmood (2021) Entrepreneurship intention and pre-start-up activities among rural millennial.
