Squamous cell carcinoma antigen as an adjunct tumour marker in primary carcinoma of the lung.

The findings suggest that CEA is a good general marker for carcinoma, particularly adenocarcinoma. In contrast, squamous cell carcinoma antigen is more specific for squamous carcinoma.
