In this article, we report two cases of sub-microscopic P. vivax malaria confirmed by PCR. Both patients were asymptomatic before treatment. They showed unusual presentations few days after initiation of antimalarial treatment. Both patients had subsequently completed antimalarial treatment and recovered completely.
