Experiments were performed in a batch mode and parameters that affected the DNA adsorption were investigated. An evaluation of the adsorption behavior revealed that Freundlich model and pseudo-second-order fit the equilibrium data. The adsorption efficiency of DNA was found to be at 70 ± 5 % after being recycled three times. This study could be used as a general platform for future work on DNA adsorption and enrichment.
