Summary:The study aims at exploring the global research trends in youth financial literacy. The data are collected from Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) database. A total of publication records is 2,428 from 1970 to 2021 are documented. The VOS viewer software version 1.6.17 is used for network visualization. Data analysis in the study includes descriptive analysis and bibliometric analysis. Descriptive analysis discusses the types of documents, languages, funding agencies, Web of Science and research areas where in bibliometric analysis contains citation analysis, co-occurrence analysis, co-authorship analysis and co-citation analysis. The study focused on publication trends, most cited articles, most productive journals, authors, organizations and contributing countries with highest citations. Moreover, it discussed the collaboration among authors and countries related with the topic and co-cited by authors and sources. The study demonstrated that youth financial literacy field related predicted grow rapidly among academics and researchers. However, the study discovered 'Financial literacy among the youth" published by Lusardi, A., Mitchell, O.S. and Curto, V is the most cited article. Other than that, it also presented the top three of most productive organization are dominated by US of Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania and University Kansas.
