This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of metal forming includes working knowledge of metalsmithing and fabrication skills. Basic metal manipulation and developing proficiency with the tools of metal forming are essential to this course. The student will explore the elements of design, various materials, and techniques of metalwork with a variety of materials while developing the ability to execute simple metal designs and confidence to incorporate various metal components into the projects.
