| Summary: | Structural elements of a building will include foundation, column, beam, ground beam and others. This report was conducted for the construction of in-situ columns and beams located at Klinik Kesihatan (Jenis 3) Pauh, Per/is a project comprising of 1 storey unit clinic building with 5 storeys unit staff quaiiers building and other ancillary blocks. The purpose of this report is to explain the method of construction of in-situ columns and beams and to identify the materials and equipment used in this construction. The importance of a good structural element will be clarified through these purposes following the requirements of building criteria. To complete this report, the methodology taken are by interviewing the person in charge at the site, doing the observations on the construction site, literature review and literature study based on the objectives of this report. It is crucial to make sure the building is following the legal regulations to avoid building collapse or failure because structure components are the main key of a durable building. |
