This course will enable the student to learn the theory and analysis needed to underpin creative design work, plus gain an understandng of engineering and ergonomic requirements for successful furniture designs. This course will also develop students’ appreciation of form and trend studies of furniture to be more innovative and creative. Professional standards are required at all stages of the design and development process and the expected outcomes would be of the industry standard.
