Summary:The purpose of this study was about the effectiveness used of information literacy and how it relates to the performance of the students' at the UiTM Campus Jengka, Pahang. The researchers want to identify the methods of information literacy in improving students' performance and to determine the relationship between information literacy and student's performance. The questionnaire is the method that being used by researchers to collect data. The population of this study is 771 which consists of three difference courses. There are Bachelor in Office System Management (BM232), Bachelor in Accountancy (AC220), and Bachelor in Science (Furniture Technology) (AS227) in UiTM Jengka, Pahang. Based on the research finding, the researchers found the method of information literacy that being used by the students are internet, book, television and newspaper. The internet are the method of information literacy that mostly used by students. Lastly, the researchers found that information literacy have relationships with students' performance. As a conclusion, the researchers summarized that most of students used internet because of the rapid change of technology contribute to get the information in a single click. As recommendations, the researchers recommend to provide information literacy course for all programs, improve internet access in UiTM Campus Jengka, Pahang, and create information literacy module during Student Development Program (PPP). The researchers also suggested for future recommendations in this field of study. The future recommendations are include students from others courses in research population, involve diploma students as respondents in future research, and involve students from all UiTM branches as research respondents.
