Summary: | For all undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Business and Management, internship is the final course on the course schedule. An internship or on-the-job training in fields related to our academic degree and field of concentration is required of all students. This internship course serves as a hands-on training ground for students to gain real-world experience, workplace skills, and a sense of responsibility in handling tasks given to them by the employer. It would improve task-related knowledge, abilities, and attitudes. As a result, I have completed this Industrial Training Report at the company where I have applied, Putra Specialist Hospital Melaka Berhad, in Bandar Melaka, under the Department of Business Office Management in Billing/Discharged Section. In any hospital or healthcare facility, the billing/discharged section plays a crucial role in managing the intricate procedures of billing, insurance claims, and patient discharges. Maintaining a steady cash flow, optimizing revenue generation, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations all depend on a well-run and effective billing and discharge department. The billing/discharged section's advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, and difficulties are discussed in this executive summary along with potential solutions. In summary, the conclusion of the SWOT Analysis component aids the reader in understanding why the analysis should be relevant by evaluating positive and negative factors both inside and outside the company. |
