The Malaysian Academy of SME & Entrepreneurship Development (MASMED) at Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Pulau Pinang recently hosted the Free Market from October 19 to 20, 2023, following the success of the initial five events. Free Market 6.0, themed "Vibrant Colours," was held at the beginning of a new semester, providing a valuable opportunity for individuals to acquire necessary items at no cost by simply requesting them politely. The participants were encouraged to wear clothes in vibrant colours that suit the event's theme. Ten faculties and departments, including the Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (APB), actively participated in this event. The APB team, consisting of Zanne, Noorli, Marni, Dr. Ilianis, Dr. Isma, Afiqah, Melati, Nazima, Dr. Leow, Laili, Raja Rosila, Aileen and two practical students who are Izzah and Syakir, managed the APB booth at Free Market 6.0. Additionally, other members of APB generously donated preloved items such as clothes, toys, books, kitchenware, hangers, perfumes, and bags. The APB team effectively engaged students and UiTMCPP staff at their booth, successfully distributing most of the donated items over the two-day event. The collective efforts of participants and the support from UITMCPP staff and students played a pivotal role in making this event a resounding success.
