Summary:Painting Dimension III is derived from an in-depth research and studio practices based on inter disciplinary studies between the Eastern and the Western countries specifically on traditional Malay Islamic and indigenous art. Such a process has been adopted toward the formulation of self-identity in sync with the development of contemporary art. Further research in terms of art concept, media, form and content and meaning generated from the above-mentioned contexts are means in building up theoretical framework for studio practices.
