The objectives of this study is to identify the level of job safety at selected companies, to discover the relationship between job safety and employees performance at selected companies and to recognize the highest factors of job safety that will contribute to employees performance at selected companies in Terengganu. A questionnaire was developed for the purpose of data collection and 108 questionnaires were returned. The questionnaire consists of three sections which are demographic, job safety compliance and employee performance. Seven likert scales were used to measure the response of respondent. The researcher found that there is a significant relationship between safety program and safety equipment towards employee performance. However, there is no significant of psychosocial hazard towards employee performance. As conclusion, the researcher found that the employee performance can be increased if the organization pays attention on job safety compliance. Thus it is recommended that, the organization should hold many safety programs or send the employees to attend the seminar in order to increase their knowledge on job safety practices in the workplace and provides employees with proper safety equipment instead. Highlight and give attention to psychosocial hazard issues as well.
