Summary: | Treasury Malaysia is one of agencies under Ministry of Finance (MoF). Tax division is part of Treasury Malaysia and responsible to manage the information necessary for decision making in all areas of tax application services. The purpose of this project is to enhance organizational performance by provide an online system for tax division. In addition this project could help the management extend their services electronically, reshape jobs and work flows and perhaps profoundly change the way they conduct their business activities. Among the processes that can be entertained by the Sistem Pengurusan Maklumat Cukai (SPeC) are handling applicants profile and their applications, application reports status, file management, task assign for officer and assessment process. In developing this online system, factors such as simplicity, efficiently and accuracy are being focused in order to make SPeC easy to use and solve the problems currently faced by the conventional system. This project primarily used open sources technologies because open source technologies allow creating powerful and fast database-generated Web site applications. Types of open source technologies that being used are Apache, PHP, MySQL and also PHP myAdmin. Although the SPeC has currently meet with all its objectives, further improvement on file documentation and also full implementation of SPeC are recommended to increase current functionality features of the system. |
