Summary:As we know that the plagiarism is one of the bad habits that should be prevented by all. Although it cannot be totally prevented but it still can be reduced. It is important before plagiarism become a culture among the university’s student in the future. This is very important because plagiarism can make the standard of education become not effective and also efficient. All of us must take action in this plagiarism. In many subjects, plagiarism can be minimized by appropriate design of essay question or student assessment generally. For an example, essay question can be posed which require the student to refer to recent newspaper or magazine articles, draw on personal experiences or make connections between theory and example not found in the literature. This prompts students to do their own work without any specific concern about plagiarism. By contrast, offering long list of possible essay topics, little changed from year to year, is a prescription for copying from published sources and also past essays.
