Summary: | Collaborative teaching is an educational approach where two or more teachers work together to plan, instruct, teach, and assess students. Research has shown that this method can enhance learning opportunities for students and encourages on going professional development for educators. A team of lecturers which comprise Nazima Versay Kudus, Wan Noorli Razali, Noraziah Mohd Amin and Dr Isma Noornisa Ismail collaborated in the teaching of Personal Reading Log component in Integrated Language Skills(ELC151) code. The team has invited Associate Professor Dr. Mohamad Rashidi Pakri from the English Language Section, School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia, to deliver two lecture sessions online. Dr. Rashidi has 30 years of experience in conducting research, teaching, and publishing in the field of literature. The selected short stories for the lectures are "On Fridays" by Robert Raymer for Personal Reading Log 1 and "The Story of an Hour" by Kate Chopin for Personal Reading Log 2. The lecture was conducted on the 2nd and23rd of May respectively. Ain Amani Azmi, an intern from UiTM, served as the moderator for both sessions. |
