Description
Summary:This study focuses on the discussion on the awareness of Johor Bahru enforcement officers on the issue of corruption that occurs in the organization by taking into account its impact on employee morale. This study also aims to see the level of awareness of enforcement officers towards corruption issues in their workplace as well as impacts on their work morale. Previously, corruption cases were at an alarming level. Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic there has been an increase in corruption cases in Malaysia due to the economic recession which has pushed people into a state of desperation. Nevertheless, it was found that the lack of integrity in enforcement officers also led to an increase in corruption cases. Therefore, to answer the research question, this research used a quantitative method and a census sampling method involving 80 enforcement officers in Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) Johor Bahru through conducted a survey using a questionnaire. However, secondary sources, as well as academic journals, newspapers, and others, are used to achieve the objectives of the study. The methods in the form of Descriptive Statistical Analysis and Pearson Correlation Analysis were used in this study. The results of the study found that awareness of the issue of corruption among enforcement officers can be measured by the knowledge, experience and attitudes that exist in enforcement officers by referring to how they act if they know corruption occurs in their organization.
