Summary:Foreign workers are one of the major contributors to national development. However, it is often said that most employers prefer to hire the illegal foreign workers. This research was aimed to identify the perception of employers towards the 6P program, and to identify factors that associated with the perception of employers towards the 6P program. A total of 70 employers has participated in this study. Data were analyzed using statistical software package for the social science (SPSS). Overall, this study found that the employer's perception towards the law enforcement is at the high level. This is because strict enforcement could make employers more obey towards the law enforcement. Other factors such as knowledge and government publicity has influenced the perception of employers towards the 6P program.
