As lockdown restrictions lift, more people can visit restaurants or the homes of friends or family. And some may be concerned about eating with plates, cups, and cutlery that other people have handled or eaten from. Coronavirus particles are transmitted from person to person in droplets of moisture from the mouth and nose. This means coughs and sneezes are a key source of transmission, but deposits of saliva, for example, left on a cup when you sip from it, could also contain the virus. In addition, simply sharing dishes or cups with someone can triple your likelihood of catching covid-19. Basically, Elastica is a sustainable personalized cup lid set. The main highlight in this set is the cup lid because it can be expandable where it can fit various size of cup mouth, unlike some other lid. The existing design just can fit a certain size of cups where it cannot be use with another cups. Other than that, the existing cup lids are not fully seal the cup. Elastica personalized cup lid set is reusable where it can be reusing many times. This is a pretentious step to prevent virus transaction from other people, or from the air. This product can be use by a wide range of people, especially in restaurants, hotels, cafeteria, or people can also have it as their own personal cup lid set. So, they can use it anywhere regardless the situation. In addition, Elastica Personalized Cup Lid Set comes together with a cup lid, a set of cutleries and a buttoned table mat in a packaging. The objectives of Elastica Personalized Cup Lid Set are (1) to ensure user's comfort by designing a user friendly and ergonomic Personalized Cup Lid Set, (2) to improve cup lid design by designing an expandable cup lid that can fit various size of cup mouth, and (3) to prevent a virus transaction from the air or other people.
