Study and teaching. Research Statistical data Theory and method of social science statistics Plastic bags had been widely used around the world. It is difficult to dispose, and the decomposition taking a very long process. It clearly can be seen that plastic bag actually never fully decompose. Plastic bag also can be classified into a few types for example, high-density polyethylene, medium-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene, and linear low-density polyethylene. Due to this, it has the severe impact towards the environment and also some impact on plastic bags on the environment. The purpose of the study was to be examined and compared the public perception on the impact of plastic bags usage on the environment in Malaysia. The study was carried towards the 400 respondents. This study is using the quantitative method and employed a non-probability sampling, convenience sampling in collecting the data by distribute the questionnaire. Majority of the respondents were agreed on the impact of plastic bags usage on the environment in Malaysia. However, some of the respondents were not agreed on the impact of plastic bags usage on the environment in Malaysia. From the findings, it shows that the mean for the plastic bags on the environment is 4.3960. The mean of all variables was 2.5 that range from 4.3615 to 4.5105. This means that overall positive response in construct this study. The correlation of the plastic bags impact with the pollution is 0.726 (Sig = 0.000). The correlation of the plastic bags impact with the climate changes is 0.668 (Sig = 0.000). Last but not least for the correlation of the plastic bags impact with the damages on living things is 0.687 (Sig=0.000). Therefore, the research is uniquely positioning as to make both empirical and theoretical contribution to the literature of the multi-domain which include the psychology and management literature. 2022 Student Project NonPeerReviewed text en https://ir.uitm.edu.my/id/eprint/74699/1/74699.pdf Public perception on the impact of plastic bags usage on the environment in Malaysia / Afiq Che Mohseen and Nurul Ashikin Mohamad Niza.
