Description
Summary:The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between health concern, concern about environmental impacts of food waste and awareness and concern about the expiration date with the level of students’ attitudes towards solid waste management in UiTM Seremban 3. The study was conducted from March 2021 until February 2022. This study used a non-probability convenience sampling technique in collecting the survey data. The result of the study revealed three important findings. First, most of the respondents were concerned about their health and made decision to discard the food and there is a significant and strong relationship with the level of attitudes towards solid waste management. Second, there is a relationship between concern about environmental impacts of food waste and the level of students’ attitudes towards solid waste management in UiTM Seremban 3 because most of the people are concerned about the impacts of food waste on the environment. Third, most of the people are aware of the expiration date and there is a strong relationship between awareness and concern about the expiration date and level of attitudes towards solid waste management. As a result, this research is uniquely positioned to contribute both theoretically and empirically to the multi-domain literature, including management and psychology literature.
