The age-friendly concept that put great emphasis on outdoor spaces and buildings, transportation, housing, social participation, respect and social inclusion, civic participation and employment, communication and information and health services, had been implemented by many cities in the world. Thus, it can be promoted and adapted to suit Malaysian socio-cultural background. Therefore, this research emphasis is to determine the key features of the age-friendly city concept based on Malaysia's social-cultural condition. Reviewing literature using content analysis in addressing aims to identify best practices of age-friendly cities globally. Deductive research approach applies in this research that includes descriptive analyses to cluster age friendly city practices into main city features. Findings of research will contribute to the body of knowledge by suggesting key city features space particularly in urban areas.
