Nowadays; many constructions in Malaysia used a tower crane at construction site. In our highly mechanized world, tower cranes are workhorses that have increased productivity in construction and in the maintenance of production and service facilities. Statistic show, however, that because of inherent hazards which occur during normal working circumstances, a tower crane can be a dangerous piece of equipment. The most accidents occur because none proper maintenance of tower crane. This factor can make unsafe at construction site during work. This research is divided into 6 chapters. In Chapter 1 includes the introduction of the dissertation. Chapter 2 is about introduction to the tower crane includes definition, operation, maintenance and safety aspect of tower crane.
