The social networking among the children in many countries are very worrying nowadays that had been the critical situation in the environment life. The statistics shows an increment of social networking problems among students year by year. However, there is also positive effects of the internet usage towards the students if they use for the right purpose. Thus, this study is to examine the effects of the internet usage towards secondary school students in Malaysia. A convenient sampling technique we have used and 338 questionnaires had been distributed to the secondary school students in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Muara Tuang. Kota Samarahan. The objectives of this study is to examine the most dominant effect of the internet usage towards the children, to determine the relationship between the internet usage and the effect towards the children and to identify the gender that mostly influence by the internet activities on the internet. From the finding, there is strong relation between the internet usage and the effects towards secondary school students.
