Facilities maintenance is important to ensure circumstance of the facilities or amenities function very well and efficient. Every person have to take their responsibility together either consumer or owner. With provide the efficient and good maintenance; facilities and amenities can get retaining the value of property and the functioned of the facilities or amenities retained. In Malaysia, the perception on the maintenance is still in moderate level. Proper facilities or amenities maintenance is very important. A good maintenance program that includes detailed records of routine maintenance and repair is key in keeping facilities or amenities working properly, and in a lawsuit good record show that the maintenance manager has done his job in-keeping the facilities safe. This dissertation almost focusing on facilities maintenance which can be looking through few subheadings such as maintenance organization, maintenance planning and scheduling, the preventive maintenance and the last one is the operations or facilities involvement. As to clearly clarify, this research was enclosed with study case at KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KLIA). What is interesting to be an issue here is the level of Malaysia's perception. Are they know or not how far of their knowledge to carried out the maintenance work on their property itself.
