The risk in construction industry is mostly associated with various occupational accidents and fatal injuries due to various factors, such as failure to comply with the safe use of equipment i.e., commonly occur among workers working with scaffolds. Therefore, this research aimed to recognize the potential risk and strategy to improve scaffolding safety management in construction industry. The objectives of this research are to observe scaffolding safety regulations practices and to identify the injuries, risk, and ways to improve safety and health environment among construction workers in the usage of scaffolding system. Questionnaires have been distributed among the employers and unstructured interviews were conducted with the safety officers. The result of this research shows that both employer and employee were aware of the scaffolding potential injuries and risk, and the safety and health regulations in construction site.
