An electronic medical record (ENR) is a digital version of a paper chart that contains all of a patient's medical history from one practice. an ENR is mostly used by providers for diagnosis and treatment. An EMR is more beneficial than paper records because it allows provider to track data over time, identify patients who are due for preventive and screenings, monitor patient and improve overall quality of care in a practices. This study has been done in KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital. The main objective of this study is to identify the level of effectiveness in implementing electronic medical record among the staff and to identify the ethical issues among the staffing using electronic medical record in KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital. A set of questionnaire has been distributed to evaluate the effectiveness and ethical issues among the staff. At the end of the study, some recommendations have been suggested by the researcher to improve and maintaining the momentum of the implementation electronic medical record (EMR)
