Description
Summary:Upon completing this project, it intended to provide an improvement and better services to the stakeholder which are Unit Pengurusan Kolej & NR (UPKNR) and also Non-Resident (NR) students of UiTM Jasin regarding the matter of rental houses management. As the rental houses is crucial to NR students, they need an efficient way to manage the rental houses. This system consists of three actors which are staff, student and landlord. Currently, they are using paper based management system in managing the rental house’s information and also the complaint form regarding the rental houses. There is only advertising on the rental houses through social media. The house rental management system gives opportunity for the landlords to advertise their rental houses and NR students will have a platform specifically for them to search houses for rent. It also help NR students in submitting complaints regarding their houses by using this system. As all the data will be sorted and stored in database, it helps the staff of UPKNR to efficiently manage all of the information regarding the landlords, rental houses and complaints. The most suitable methodologies were chosen to in the development of the project which is waterfall methodology. The methodology consists of several phases which are requirement gathering and analysis, design, and implementation. In conclusion, this system will be much help to all the users that involved in many ways.
