| Summary: | Practical training at the Jabatan Kerja Raya Muar Johor. The JKR Muar have a few department which is building department, road department, facilities department, quantities survey and administration. This also learn about the general inspection on the building that used by the building surveyor. On the inspection there are learn a few defect that on the building such as the crack on the wall, and concrete spalling. From this, its can identify the pattern, and possible causes of the defect. The case study area is located at Training Nurse Hostel (Block E), Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital. The objective of the inspection on the building is to identify the causes of defect on building structural, to inspect and evaluate the defect on building structural, and the proposing the repair structure to be submitted by JKR Muar and JKR Johor.
