Summary: | This study was carried out to explore the Concept of Identification in Danielle Steel's novel, Mirror Image. The objective of this study was to find out how the author applied the concept in her book and thus, evoking psychological empathy and identification between readers and the characters in their various situations. Based on the hypothesis that she aims at causing identification in her writing, a combination of qualitative analysis and close reading is used for the findings and discussion. |
