This is because now days, firefly are becoming extinct and firefly would only be found in this kind of ecosystem .Other than that, upon upgrading this Firefly Park, the place will be much more welcoming to the visitor of the park and would also help to attract people to come to the place This park is located away from all the hectic city life in Kampung Bukit Belimbing, Kuala Selangor, making it more special with the nature surrounding, village lifestyle and historical of the place .It is also, the only place in region where you can witness the sight of millions of fireflies flashing in synchrony most frequently and visitor will be taken on a boat ride along the Selangor River where the fireflies inhibit around the branches of "Berembang" trees along the river bank. |
