Summary:The increasing safety and health problem among foreign workers in oil palm plantation estate has created various effects and problem to estate management. One of the main reason that cause the problem is because workers not wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). So prevention methods had been introduced by estate management that is PPE training program to all the plantation workers. This study was conducted to study the awareness level of the plantation workers towards the PPE training program that been conducted by estate management. Using the questionnaire method, data was gathered from 155 respondents that comprise of plantation workers from 101 plantation Ladang Bahau, Negeri Sembilan. The Pearson Correlation method was used to test the relationship between the independent variable that is knowledge on PPE and attitude towards PPE training program towards the dependent variable that is the awareness level on PPE training program. The multiple regression method was used to study on the most influencing variable that affecting the dependent variable. The finding shows that both independent variable that is knowledge on PPE and attitude towards PPE training program has high positive relationship towards the dependent variable. Finding also show that attitude towards PPE training program is the most influencing variable affecting the dependent variable. The findings can provide useful information to a better understanding regarding the factor that can influence the workers awareness on PPE training program. Estate management could use the findings to make a proper plan in enhancing the information and plan on how to reduce the safety and health problem at the estate. The limitation, implication and suggestion for future research are also discussed for further research and discussion.
