Perak Tengah is located in the Central part of the State of Perak and Kuala Kangsar is bordered by North, South Hilir Perak, Ipoh Kinta in the West and the East. The district was established in 1936 where before that date it just a small part of the district of Kuala Kangsar, Perak Hilir, Manjung and also Kinta. The district covers an area of 1282 km. square and has a population of 67.290 people (according to 1991 census). The population of this regional is an agriculture such as rice, rubber, oil palm and fruits such as durian and others.
