Summary:The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Teamwork and Employee Performance among the employee. This study was conducted at Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Tun Abdul Razak (IPGKTAR) Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. Questionnaire was developed for the purpose of data collection. There were 166 sets questionnaire sent to the respondent with the return rate, 95.18%. With the help of SPSS version 20, the data were analysed and discussed. In order to determine whether there is relationship between teamwork and employee performance, Pearson Correlation was performed on the data. The findings show that there is a relationship between both variables. The correlational value shows that (r=.726, p<0.01) which it can be concluded that all the variables had positive and significant relationship with job performance. Positive interaction and cooperation among staff enables them to better understand the meaning of teamwork in the development of human civilization and to help human beings achieve the common objectives and objectives they all need. The findings of this chapter will help with strong power given by a group of individuals to make better decisions efficiently and responsibility on their performance as employee.
