Summary:Foreign direct investment is one of the main factors to boost the economic growth of Malaysia. The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between foreign direct investment and economic growth in Malaysia and it will also highlight the relationship status between the variables included in the model either long or short run in case of Malaysia. From this research, the data is collected from secondary data obtained from various sources such as World Bank over the period 1986-2015. There are total of 30 years observations with yearly data for each of the variables. The Method that are using to complete this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis (Time Series Data). For the Econometric method, we are using the Descriptive Analysis, Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis, and Test on assumption (Normality test).
