Summary:Industrial Training (INTRA) is a compulsory activity for all Universiti Teknologi Mara students in Malaysia to enable them to graduate. Furthermore, it also refers to work experience that is relevant to professional development. One of the requirements for the award is that students must complete the Industrial Training period for sixteen (16) weeks. It is compulsory to complete the Industrial Training programme which contains eight (8) credit hours in order to fulfill the requirements for diploma programme that have been offered by the university. Students are required to submit an Industrial Training report at the end of the training period. Students also are required to perform Presentation which will be conducted at Uitm Perak. This phase of learning is very important to ensure every student are expose to the real industrial culture with experience related to their subjects or programme, thus building up professionalism and self-esteem for student future carrier.
