Nurses are drawn into a variety of directions which require them to be multitasking. The excessive workload of nurses creates an imbalance between professional and personal life. Thus, this study aims to propose a conceptual framework on the impact of work-life balance on nurses' job satisfaction at public hospitals. Prior works of literature provided several examples that illustrated how work-life balance impacted job satisfaction among nurses. However, there is a lack of literature focusing on how the dimensions of work-life balance, such as working hours, work pressure and workplace culture, impact job satisfaction. This conceptual framework can be beneficial to public hospitals to improve their policies and upgrade the benefits programs, work distribution, and work-life balance initiatives. This framework is also designed to serve as a basis for future research in this area.
