Industrial training is one of the most important mediums to experience reallife working situations. It is one thing that a student can get some experience before graduation so that they are ready for working life. During industrial training, studentscanuse the skill or their knowledge from what we had learned in class into the real life situation I started my industrial training at Public Works Department (PWD) Kubang Pasu , Jitra , Kedah Darul Aman. I reported myself in on the 1st of Mac 2018. At PWD Kubang Pasu, most of their project are constructions and maintenance. So I learned the procedures and processes of a project from the beginning to the end of the project. During my practical, I had learn more to many construction project as there are not so many maintenance works under PWD Kubang Pasu, manage files about their project and use autoCAD software to draw the building layout and design. I gain experience of communicating skills between the staffs and able to build up my confident level to start talking the stranger when having a conversation. The staffs of PWD Kubang Pasu were very friendly, talkative and helpful all the way as I ask some question to them about the construction of building. As number of staffs that work there are not so many, It is easy for me to memorize their name and get to know them faster. They helped me a lot during my practical there and for that, I am very thankful and so grateful for what they had do to help me during my internship. I completed my Industrial Training on the 28th of June 2018 and I know I still have a lot to learn but I hope these 19 weeks of working at there will help me be more practical in the near future.
