Summary: | Government of Malaysia already stated on Federal Constitution, Article 8 Subsection 1 that 'All persons are equal before the law and entitled to the equal protection of the law'. However, it is different in real circumstance. The disable people in Malaysia are assumed as the person that could not have the opportunity for a better life because of discrimination on their needs. The objective of the study is to identify the problems relates to the disable person in school including student, teacher, staff and visitor. The study also desires to evaluate the level of awareness regarding disable person's requirement W normal schools. Other aims are to evaluate the advancement of the facilities provided and to recommend the suitable approaches and method to overcome the problem. The study which carried out at schools in Selangor had been analyzed to figure out the findings. The analysis shows the existing facilities provided are insufficient and inappropriate for disable person's usage. Nevertheless, it can be concluded that there are changes and improvement on provided facilities for disable person among these years. |
