Practical Training is a code that comprising of various aspects that related with the building surveying and industry field. There are some aims and objectives that have been considered which are to develop the student’s intellectual, powers and ability in analyzing fact finding and investigation through relevant specific and qualitative analysis. Then, to develop a knowledge and understanding of the principles , concepts and procedures with special emphasis in the field of material and construction , maintenance , legal and management and interrelated aspects of technologies in construction industry. Besides, it is also to educate the student in dealing with implication of developments and awareness of factors affecting the built environment and society. The main objectives of this subject is to teach student on how to produce a report and an effective presentation of the case study. Then, to justify the relationship of various professionals and their practices in the building industry as well as the integration and cross subject analysis and synergy. Besides, to describe a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving encountered in the practical training and to reinforce the wide array of skills, knowledge and applications necessary for the successful completion of project and teamwork. The research will be focusing on the details of the company background which is will covered on the every department that have in this company. Besides, there are also track record for the previous project and main expertise this company in maintenance industry. Then, the literature review as the overview towards the details research on case study which will comes with problem and recommendation. Building condition assessment is growing and become more important in the context of the built environment and Asset Management in Malaysia. This report present the method and the use of a standard guidelines for Building Condition Assessment (BCA) as a tool to evaluate the physical condition of the building. The purpose of this report is to understand the use of BCA in assessing building condition. The methodology was based on literature review, review content from achieve document of Public Work Department (PWD) Malaysia which is involved study on the existing methods, proposal, discussion, piloting, improvement, approval and analysis of data. A case study involved of 2 buildings with various function such as office and learning institution of building inspectors or assessors. The findings shows that the using of the standard for condition assessment, the building inspectors or assessors can provide the data and condition rating to the buildings according to the standard. The results the used to examine a level consistency of BCA in data collection and it will easily assessed and understood, and the appropriates of BCA to different types of building.
