This study examines the challenges faced by the music teachers in both government and private primary schools and factors affecting the challenges. Results of eight music teachers from both government and private primary schools showed that the challenges faced" by the teachers are regarding to the schools events and performances. Government schools teachers are having problems with the usage of music room for practicing. Each school has only one music room that can use for teaching and other activities. Sometimes they need to schedule the usage of music room in order to make sure all music teachers can use the music room equally. This study also discussed other issues and challenges and also factors affecting thesis.
