Summary:This research is done in the quest to investigate the types of music used in pre-school classroom and to analyse these music in terms of the elements of music. The research method applied included readings, analysis and interviews conducted with several preschool teachers and music tutors. This research focuses on pre-schools in the Klang Valley area comprising of children ranging from the age of 3 until 6 years. The findings revealed that although music teachers in pre-school do not have adequate musical background, they managed to apply suitable music as an education aid based on their age group. As a conclusion, the choice of music used able to generate the minds of pre-school children and at the same time making learning more creative, cheerful and interactive.
