The provision of public facilities in a neighborhood is one of the important factors in producing a quality neighborhood. At the same time, it also produces a great and big impact to ensure that residents can do their daily life activities peacefully and also can do social activities among the community without any problems. In ensuring the provision of adequate public facilities, the study is made for neighborhood area with regard that lack of public facilities. The neighborhood is Bandar Damansara which is located in Kuantan, Pahang. The main purpose of this study is to provide public facilities that are suitable and adequate, such as mosque, public hall and also daily primary and secondary school to facilitate the social and economic matters for the residents. The actual demand and satisfaction level were reviewed to the residents of the neighborhood and showed a significant shortage of public facilities such as mosques, public halls as well as daily schools. This study understands the complexity of the residents of the neighborhood in the provision of public facilities as the neighborhood developer does not carry out their responsibilities to provide adequate public facilities according to the guidelines provided. In order to propose the provision of adequate public facilities, the satisfaction and opinion from the residents about the neighborhood are also included in the provision of public facilities that are expected to help the residents do business in their daily lives.
