Summary: | Studies have been conducted on household behaviour and recycling practise on waste management in villages area where nowadays the problems and issue of solid waste management are mostly come from the household. The problems also when their knowledge to manage all wastes are very low and their attitude towards recycling practise. Therefore, a method to know how the ways of householders are managing their waste as well as to identify their effort towards recycling practise have been conducted by a questionnaire survey to the residents of the study area. This paper has founded some findings upon the aim of this study where all respondents have stated their behaviour and attitude towards the solid waste management from home and recycling practise as their habit to manage their wastes. Apart from that, this study founded that most of the residents in the study area are less to manage their wastes from home properly and this will affect the increasing statistics of solid waste production. Most of the residents also do not practising recycling activities as other ways of managing solid waste from home. Thus, at the end of this study paper has included some recommendations in physical context to overcome this issue and to reshape the new habit of managing solid waste among the householders. Besides that, the recommendation also met the demands from the respondents as asked in the questionnaire survey conducted. This study hopefully would be implemented by the local authorities and could be inserted in the new guideline for future development in conjunction to overcome this big issue and problems that we are facing now and forward. |
