Farm machinery New Holland TD5.75 tractor is a new modern farming technology tractor that can be operated with autopilot mode. This tractor can be categorize as updated intelligence machine farming that also can be attach with different sensoring implements such as Yara sensor and Veris 3100. Yara sensor is the sensor that can sense the nitrogen contain in plant, while Veris 3100 is the Electro Conductivity sensor implement to study the soil properties. Since this new autopilot tractor is rarely been used in Malaysia, there are uncertainty on the data and information credibility. The purpose of this study is to compare the performance and measure the accuracy between autopilot tractor and conventional handheld GPS by using RMSE method and ArcGIS. The data was collected by field observation in UiTM Jasin at cluster of young oil palm field. The coordinate of oil palm trees were measured and shown that the autopilot tractor is more accurate than handheld GPS with error of 0.0010896 for longitude and 2.07686 X 10ֿ⁵ for latitude. As a conclusion, the uses of this tractor GPS as a reference in working in the field is important in improving the working performance in the field.
