Summary:This research is a study of lifestyles and body mass among the students in the Faculty of Education UiTM Shah Alam. Fifty respondents were randomly chosen based on their body mass. There were twenty-five male students and twenty-five female students from the Faculty of Education UiTM Shah Alam. The collected data were analyzed using the software Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Frequency and percentages were used to analyze the body mass level of students. Frequency, percentages, mean and standard deviation were used to examine the nature of healthy lifestyles practiced by the students and Pearson Correlation Coefficient was used to analysis the data on relationship between lifestyles and body mass level among students. Results showed that lifestyles and body mass level were significantly positively correlated. So, there is a relationship between lifestyles and body mass among students in the faculty of Education UiTM Shah Alam. This means the lifestyle of students such as food and nutrition knowledge, weight control, stress and exercise affects BMI of overweight students. The researcher recommended that young generations to eat a balanced diet, have mental health stability, constant control or reduce stress and do regular physical activities that can make life healthier.
