International Hacking Competition, which is organized once in two years, is a platform which provides exposure to the Malaysian community especially the higher education institution about the computer security. The workshop is one of the special attractions of International Hacking Competition that usually shows number of entries that can be proud of. Currently, organizers of International Hacking Competition are facing a problem in participants’ registration process including the problem in the medium used for the payment process of participation fee. Due to the problems mentioned above, this project is about developing a web based system that is specially designed to manage the information of workshop’s registration as well as the payment process of workshop for International Hacking Competition. For the first part of the web based system which is the competition system, the function is limited to the competition itself and also workshop. The purpose of creating the competition system is to facilitate the participants’ registration process as well as to provide fees payment notification through online. The significant of this project is to manage the participants and the organizers during the registration and fees’ payment process. This system was developed in order to ease the organizer in viewing the information of the participants through web based system compared to what have been applied before where the registration is done manually. In terms of registration process, the participants can register themselves through online which can be done at any time compared to previous manual procedures where they need to fax or email their forms to the event’s organizer
