| Summary: | Map is part of important content in the university’s website that helps to give an overview the landscape of the university. It is necessary for admin of the website to choose type of map to display. Interactive map is the type of map that is very suitable to add as a content in the web as it engaging with the user. The interactive map of UiTM Shah Alam is developed by improvising from previous static map. The objective of this project is to identify the features that make map interactive, design the interactive map of UiTM Shah Alam by using information that consist in the existing static map and test the functional of the new map. In this study, 79 % of respondents think that the existing map is not very helpful. The existing UiTM map is also categorize as static map when compared with four other interactive map that use in other university’s website. Based on feedback from respondents that try the prototype, it helps to give the completeness of information without giving headache to the user by providing layer of map. In Conclusion, user who uses the prototype can easy to understand the map as well as easy to get the information from the map. |
