Summary: | The number of students involved in problems of discipline, social issues and crime is on the rise and worrying. Personal stress and job stress eventually become interrelated to the point the making distinction between the two becomes difficult. Therefore, this study attempts to investigate the relationship between students' discipline problem and work stress among teachers at secondary school in Jengka, Pahang. This study is conducted for the purpose to identify the factors that contribute to the work stress among teachers, to determine what type of discipline problem creates work stress and among teachers, to identify the ways that can be used to overcome work stress and get information about the highest rate discipline problem at selected schools. Correlational research design was chosen to complete this research which because the research consists of relationship between variables, not which one causes what change in the other. For this study, it focuses on the relationship between students' discipline problem and work stress among teachers. For this research, as a sampling frame we obtained a list of teachers in secondary schools which is Sekolah Menengah Jengka 16 and Sekolah Menengah Jengka 2. The total number of respondents is 80 and the sample sizes are 30 respondents. The instrument used in this research was questionnaire and the data was analyze using Social Science Software (SPSS) Version 16 in order to analyze the descriptive statistic. |
