Summary: | In today's world, having access to the Internet and technology is just as important for education as having textbooks and classrooms. The fast-paced development of digital technologies has completely changed how we learn, collaborate, and innovate. However, not everyone has equal access to these benefits. Many students around the world still lack the necessary resources to fully participate in the digital age. As education increasingly relies on technology, it is crucial to ensure that everyone has fair access to digital resources; helping to close educational gaps and empower learners everywhere. Digital access is essentially about the right and ability to access information using digital tools and the Internet. It is important that everyone, regardless of their background or where they live, can use these resources. The widespread use of smartphones makes it easier to support digital learning platforms, which are especially useful for remote learning (Huda, 2023). Digital access is key to making sure all students can access online study materials and other resources they need for distance education, no matter their social or demographic background (Kulal et al., 2024). |
